Zacharias Sklava has a bright, medium lemon green color, with gray highlights. Aromas of citrus fruits, fresh stone fruit and botanical character on the nose. In the mouth, medium acidity, medium body and aromas of pear, green apple, lemon, with botanical notes, tea leaves & chamomile. Long aftertaste. Aging potential is 3 to 4 years, with interesting development in the bottle. Combines with: Salads, pasta, seafood, cold appetizers, white cheeses, handmade pies with herbs and green vegetables & greens.

Sklava is a unique, ancient Greek variety, from the oldest of Hellinikon vineyard. It was planted together with Agiorgitiko Nemea, rescued and revived by the agriculturist & wine grower, Ilias Zacharias. Today cultivated, vinified and bottled exclusively from the Zacharias winery. The 1st single-varietal Sklava bottling took place in 2014.
